The month kicks off with the White Plains St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 8th. This beloved local event features colorful floats, lively bands, and talented performers marching down Mamaroneck Avenue. Families dressed in green will soak in the festive atmosphere. The parade not only entertains with its vibrant sights and sounds but also offers a chance to connect with the community.

On March 14th, Luck of the Hill at Ridge Hill offers another celebration of St. Patrick's Day. Families can enjoy activities such as face painting, traditional Irish dance performances, and live music. Kids can embrace their inner builders at the Lowe's Kid's Workshop on March 15th by creating and personalizing their very own recycling truck! This hands-on event not only fosters craftsmanship but also teaches sustainability. Plus, kids can work towards Senior Builder status by attending these monthly workshops. Once they attend 12 and collect their badges, they receive the title and a free tool bag!

On March 29th, the Brick Factor at Ridge Hill invites families to watch as contestants strive to become the new Master Model Builder at LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Participants will tackle creative building challenges using millions of LEGO bricks. With exciting competitions, families can cheer on their favorites as they showcase their talents. This event is a wonderful way to inspire creativity and imagination, perfect for the LEGO-obsessed members of your family!

Lastly, on March 30th, join Explore Our Native Animals at Muscoot Farm, where families can discover local wildlife up close. This enriching event offers kids the chance to learn about the animals that call our region home. Advance registration is required to secure a spot. By exposing children to wildlife, we help nurture their respect for nature and all living beings, supporting their understanding of the ecosystem.
