"Being a one woman show with very little startup capital, getting myself known to the community and advertising has been my greatest struggle," Dana admits. Volunteering at the town community center's senior program proved to be a turning point, leading to paid classes through the parks and recreation department. "It’s been a great way to gain exposure and trust of my local community," she says.

Dana's dedication to her craft and her students shines through in her favorite customer success story. "I’d have to say it was how amazed I was by the cakes created by my kids classes," she beams. "Watching how proud they were to show their parents their edible works of art and the true amazement of the parents at what the kids were capable of making after just 6 hours of instruction over 3 weeks was a real indication that what I set out to do I was accomplishing!"
